PALPA: Office-bearers of three student unions have protested Nepal Magar Association (Palpa)’s act of declaring a separate Magarat state. Issuing a press statement on Friday, Pradipraj Pandey, acting president of the Nepal Student Union’s Tribhuvan Multiple Campus unit, member of the campus’ Free Student Union Jyoti Pandey and chairman of the ANNFSU (sixth)’s campus unit Nischal Chhetri urged all concerned not to declare states on the basis of ethnicities as such an act will have a negative bearing on harmony existing among various ethnic communities of the country
