CA members of different political parties will present papers in the three-day workshop
KAVRE: Minister for Health and Population Uma Kanta Chaudhary on Tuesday said that the Tharu community should unite to represent their voices in the new constitution.
Speaking at a workshop "New Constitution and Issues of the Tharu Community" in Dhulikhel today, he said that Tharus are indigenous people of Terai and they should launch protests if their issues were not incorporated in the new statute.
The programme was organised to inform about the number of issues of Tharus incorporated by 11 thematic committees of the Constituent Assembly. Representatives of UNDP, Constitutional Dialogue Centre (CDC), Tharu organisations as well as students attended the function.
